- Purchases are managed by the store: Prices, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the information shown at purchase and by App Store or Google Play policies.

1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms govern your use of the Salfa app, including local games, online rooms, custom content, Salfa+, advertisements, and related support services. Downloading, opening, or using the app means that you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you use the app on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the app or its online features.
2. Eligibility, minors, and adult content
You must be legally able to accept these Terms in your country. If you are below the applicable age of majority or digital consent, use the app only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
The app may offer bolder content levels labelled for adults. These levels are intended only for people aged 18 or older. Confirming your age in the app is a user declaration, not formal identity verification.
3. Licence granted to you
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal licence to use the app for personal entertainment on devices you own or control, subject to the rules of the store from which you obtained it.
- You may not sell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the app outside authorised channels.
- You may not reverse engineer the app, bypass protections, or attempt unauthorised access to servers, except where the law expressly permits it.
- You may not use the brand, design, or commercial content in a way that suggests our sponsorship or approval without written permission.
4. Online rooms and participant interaction
Online rooms allow player names, answers, choices, votes, results, drawings, and events needed for gameplay to be shared among room members. Participants may see what you submit according to each game’s rules, so do not enter secrets or sensitive personal data.
Room codes are meant to be shared only with people you want to invite. You are responsible for protecting them and, to the extent permitted by law, for the conduct of people you invite. A session may be affected by an internet outage, a player leaving, or differences between app versions.
5. Content you create or submit
You retain your rights in the text, questions, names, drawings, and feedback you create. To the extent needed to provide the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit, and display that content within the room or to the support and review team.
You confirm that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not violate another person’s rights or privacy. Content submitted in rooms or support forms is not treated as confidential, so do not use them to store highly sensitive information.
6. Prohibited conduct, reporting, and moderation
You must not use Salfa for any of the following:
- Abuse, harassment, threats, hate speech, exploitation, or unlawful sexual content, especially any content involving minors.
- Impersonation, unauthorised collection of participant data, malware, spam, or attempts to disrupt the app or service.
- Uploading content that infringes intellectual-property rights, privacy, or any applicable law.
- Circumventing limits on the free version, subscriptions, advertising, security, or rating systems.
We may review reports, restrict a feature, remove content available through the service, end a room, or block online access where we reasonably believe there is a violation or risk. Reporting does not guarantee immediate removal and does not replace contacting the relevant authorities where there is a real threat.
7. Salfa+, purchases, and subscriptions
Paid features may be offered through a recurring subscription or a one-time purchase. The price, currency, duration, free trial (if any), and exact benefits shown on the store purchase screen apply if there is any conflict.
- Charges are made to the Apple or Google account linked to your device. Salfa does not receive your full card details.
- A recurring subscription renews automatically until you cancel it through your store-account settings within the period specified by the store. Deleting the app or its local data does not cancel the subscription.
- Restore Purchases can be used for eligible purchases linked to the same account. Purchases may not transfer between Apple and Google unless the product and store structure allow it.
- Refund requests, refunds, taxes, and billing errors are handled by the store under its policy and applicable law.
- A one-time purchase means there are no recurring charges for that product. It is not a promise that the app or an online service will operate for your lifetime or forever.
8. Advertisements and external links
The free version may display sponsored advertisements. Tapping an ad, share link, or store link may open an external service whose content, practices, and availability we do not control.
An advertisement is not a guarantee of the product or advertiser. Check the offer and third party before sharing information or completing a transaction. Your relationship with that party is governed by its terms and privacy policy.
9. Updates, compatibility, and service availability
We may update the app, content, or technical requirements, and an update may become necessary for security or online rooms. We do not guarantee that every version will work with every device, operating system, or network, or that every game, feature, price, or plan will remain unchanged.
We may temporarily or permanently discontinue all or part of the app for technical, security, legal, or commercial reasons, or if a distribution store, account, or service is suspended. The app may become unavailable for download or update, and online rooms may stop working even if a copy remains installed on your device.
10. Ending your access
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or end your access to online services if you violate these Terms, to protect users and the service, or to comply with law. Where applicable, we will respect proportionality and mandatory consumer rights.
When access ends, the licence and service-connected features end. Provisions that by their nature should continue — including ownership, restrictions, liability, and dispute resolution — remain effective to the extent permitted by law. See the Privacy Policy for information about what happens to data.
11. Intellectual property and your feedback
The app, its software, interfaces, logos, and original content are protected by intellectual-property rights belonging to the developer or its licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership beyond the limited licence above.
If you submit an idea or suggestion for improving Salfa, we may use and develop it without an obligation to compensate you or implement it. This does not take away your ownership of separate content you already own.
12. Disclaimer and limits of liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We exercise reasonable care, but we do not guarantee that it will be error-free, that sessions will never be lost, that all content will suit every person, or that the service will be uninterrupted.
You are responsible for your decisions and interactions with participants. Game content is not professional, medical, psychological, or legal advice, and the app is not responsible for information participants choose to disclose to one another.
We do not exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, intentional harm, or mandatory consumer rights. Otherwise, liability is determined by applicable law and reasonably foreseeable loss.
13. App Store and Google Play terms
Your use of a version obtained from a store is also subject to that store’s rules and standard end-user licence agreement, unless a custom agreement is properly presented. Mandatory store terms and applicable law prevail in matters of distribution or billing.
For the Apple version, the relationship concerning the app is between you and the Salfa developer, not Apple. The developer is responsible for app support and related claims to the extent required by law; Apple has no obligation to maintain the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are beneficiaries of the licence terms to the extent provided by their rules. You must also comply with applicable export, sanctions, and third-party terms.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the app, service providers, or law. We will update the date at the top and provide notice or request renewed acceptance when a change is material or the law requires it. Silence is not treated as a waiver of rights that cannot be waived.
A new version applies from the effective date shown. If you do not agree to a material change, stop using the service and cancel your recurring subscription through the store before the next billing cycle.
15. Governing law, disputes, and severability
We first seek to resolve complaints amicably through the Contact Us page. These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or competent courts available in their country of residence.
If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited to the extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Failure to enforce a right in one situation is not a waiver of that right. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and applicable store rules form the agreement governing the use of Salfa within their respective scope.
